Leewood Middle School is considering a uniform policy, and the principal has asked for students' opinions about the colors for the uniform shirts. Jennifer and Josef conducted surveys about the possible shirt colors.
Their methods and results are described below. Jennifer Sampling method: Gave each student in her
history class a survey to complete anonymously at home and return the following day. She received 50% of
the surveys the next day. Results: 85% prefer blue shirts. Josef Sampling method: Wrote all students'
names on slips of paper. Gave survey to the 50 students whose names were chosen at random. Results:
60% prefer blue shirts.
Explain whose sampling method will provide results most representative of all students at Leewood Middle
School and why
Provide your own example of another method that would represent all students at Leewood Middle School.

To find the extreme values of a function f(x. y) on a curve x-x(t), y y(t), treat f as a function of the single variable t and use the chain rule to find where df/dt is zero. in any other single-variable case, the extreme values of f are then found among the values at the critical points (points where df/dt is zero or fails to exist), and endpoints of the parameter domain. find the absolute maximum and minimum values of the following function on the given curves. use the parametric equations x=2cos t, y 2 sin t functions: curves: i) the semicircle x4,y20 i) the quarter circle x2+y-4, x20, y20 b, g(x, y)=xy
