Skill Builder Sereka is the rewards program manager for
Landmiles. Clients receive "land miles" for
their purchases that can be traded in for a
financial reward. To determine the value of
the financial reward that clients receive she
uses the following function rule:
f(x)=15{}(x-25)**
x: represents the number of reward miles
traded in and is always an integer value.
f(x): represents the value of the reward in
dollars.
Tristan and Delaney are tasked with testing
the system and made the following reward
redemptions.
• Tristan traded in 1500 miles for a $290
reward.
Delaney traded in her miles for a $383
reward.
If Tristan and Delaney had traded in all
of their miles together, they would have
received a reward of $665. What are
the possible numbers of land miles that
Delaney traded in?
