A professor is wondering if his final exam really gives him any additional information about what his students have learned during the semester. To help him decide, he looks at students' grades from the previous semester, both before the final exam and on the final exam. After graphing the paired data (overall grade, final exam grade), he finds the following best-fit line.
Final exam grade = 1.0138 x Overall Grade - 4.1629
Use the line of best fit to find a student predicted exam score and residual (actual score - predicted score) given a student with an overall grade before final exam of 72 and a final exam grade of 73.
