I am doing a portfolio on the effects of stricter gun laws on gun deaths. I have data from 4 different states on mass murder incidents, homicides, mortality rate, and population. I now need to choose a statistical test (z-test, t-test, etc) to use on this data. Which test do I use on each category? (They can all use the same one, different ones, or multiple.)
