Which quadratic function has a smaller maximum value? Explain your reasoning. Quadratic function 1 can be modeled by the equation y=-x^2-4x+2. Quadratic function 2 has zeros at x=0 and x=4 with a maximum vertex. I need help on the second part mostly, but please also walk me through the first part too.
