Consider the equation y = ax^2 + bx + c, when a > 0. If a is multiplied by -1, what is true about the graph of the new parabola? A) It is one unit to the left of the original parabola

B) It is narrower than the original parabola

C) It is flipped below the x-axis

D) It is wider than the original parabola

I've been told that the answer is D, but I just don't understand why.
Can anyone help explain?
