Several trusses are needed to build the frame of the shed roof. Each roof truss is 16 inches apart, as measured from the centers of the beam widths.
The roof could be constructed so that the ridgeline of the roof is parallel to the longest dimension of the shed (first
picture below) or it could be constructed so that the ridgeline of the roof is parallel to the shortest dimension of the
shed (second picture below).
