A 2017 Raihan et al. study investigated the prevalence of handwashing among children in Bangladesh. As part of this study,
a multifacted survey was sent to the parents of children from Bangladesh. The data provided in the file represent survey
responses from the parents of 10,478 Bangladeshi children regarding whether the children use soap when bathing.
Assume that the data were obtained from a simple random sample of all parents of Bangladeshi children. Suppose the
researchers wish to construct a 95% z-confidence interval for the proportion of children from Bangladesh who use soap
when bathing
Calculate the lower and upper limits of this confidence interval. Do not use a continuity correction. Please specify your
answers to four decimal places. If the requirements for a z-confidence interval are not met, leave both limits blank and
answer the multiple choice question.

Two language majors, anna and megan, took exams in two languages. anna scored 85 on both exams. megan scored 74 on the first exam and 85 on the second exam. overall, student scores on the first exam had a mean of 82 and a standard deviation of 4, and the second exam scores had a mean of 71 and a standard deviation of 13. a) to qualify for language honors, a major must maintain at least an 85 average across all language courses taken. so far, which of anna and megan qualify? b) which student's overall performance was better?

The bottom of ignacio's desktop is 74.5cm from the floor. ignacios sits in his adjustable chair, and the tops of his legs are 49.3cm from the floor. each clockwise rotation of the knob on the chair raises ignacio's legs by 4.8cm. write an inequality to determine the number of clockwise rotations, r, ignacio could make with the knob without his legs touching the desk.
