x-y=2(2)

Adding (1) and (2)

 →2 x=8

Dividing both side by, 2 we get

→ x=4

Substituting the value of x in equation (1)

→4+y=6

→y=6-4

→y=2

⇒Solution set (x,y)=(4,2)
