You rotate points by in a plane by drawing a Cartesian plane on paper and the points. Place your pen on the point and rotate the paper 270°. That is the basis of rotation. However, to solve this analytically, it is quite challenging because you have to imagine the point rotating.

There are already techniques of rotating points at specific degrees. For rotating 270°, the original coordinate (x, y) would become (x, -y). So, when you are asked to rotate the points 270°, just change the y-coordinate to its opposite sign. When you plot the points, it looks like that shown in the picture. The rotated parallelogram is in orange.

Therefore, the new coordinates for K' is (-6,-4) and L' is (-3,-3). The answer is B.
