now, let us work for each reading. since it is said that july has 32347  units, we will add 235.5 units so we can have the meter reading for august. same goes with the rest of the months. 235.5 units is added on each result of the previous month.

a) therefore, october has a meter reading of 33053.5   units. we should indicate the previous reading of the month so that we can calculate how much units of electricity is used up.
