Why is it that x=y^2 is different from y=√x, (i mean the graphs of the two). if you're unsure of what i mean, just look up the graph of each one individually, and you can see that one is a sideways curve while the other is just a curved line in the first quadrant. why is this the case? ! if you solve x=y^2, you get y= √x, so they are the same thing!: )
