The above answer is correct, but here is an explanation. You are dividing 47 by 9. The closest 9 can get to 47 while staying whole is 45.  So that is your whole number in the mixed number. The numerator in the mixed number is the difference between the original numerator (47) and the closest the original denominator (9) can get to(45).   Finally, the denominator is the same as the denominator in the improper fraction.
