I am bringing 5 dozen cookies to my class. There is 27 students in my class. Only 18 students are here. If there is 9 students absent , how many cookies will each student get ?

So firts you multiply 5 by 12 and that equals 60, than you subtract 27 and 9 and that equals 18, also you will multiply 18 by 60 and that equals 1080, lat but not least you will need to add 9 cookies and then you have 1089, you can divid 1089 by 18 and that equals 60 cookies for each student.
