Basically
graph y=x+4
wherever the line goes under the x axis, reflect that part across the x axis to make it positive
now find which part to shade
(0,0) is an option so shade down

so

find where it equals 0 or where it tursn negative
at x=-4

so graph y<x+4 from x=-4 to x=infinity
grahp y<-x-4 from x=negative infinity to -4

then shade under that
use dotted lines
