Imma just going to give you a example so say you 3x+1y=36 ok you have to subtact the 3x on both sides and you would cross out the 3x on the left side and your problem would be 1y=3x+36 and then you subtact 1 to every thing so your answer would be y=3x+36 because you divided and then you just have to get the y by its self
