The answer is x+4

Many people will just post the answer but i will explain how you work this question out

So firstly: You have to you have to join the two expressions together
like this: 3x-4-2x+8

It will be a -2x because +plus-=-
then you will simplify it
3x-2x=x
-4+8=4

so the answer is x=4
