If the number is 1-4 change it and everything else to 0, if it's 5-9 add one. 16 rounded to the nearest ten is 20, the 6 is between 5 and 9 so we added one the the number in front. 84.28 to the nearest dollar would be $84, since the 2 is 1-4 we changed it and the 8 to 0's. 4,680 rounded to the nearest thousand is 5,000 since the 6 is 5-9. 27.9565 to the nearest cent is 27.96 since the 6 is 5-9. :) I hope this helps :)
