How do you add single digit numbers

Often with regrouping of 2 numbers then counting them once all together

This question isn't too hard.

To add with single digit numbers you just need to count.

You can regroup too, depending on what numbers you're using. I can give you some examples if you'd like!

1 + 2 = 3 because you need to just count. If I have one apple and you have two, count to see how many apples we have altogether. In this case, we have three apples.

What about 9 + 9? You would regroup because our answer is bigger than ten. If I have nine pennies and you have nine pennies, and we put them all together you'd have 18. Just count like before ^
