Ken and Melinda want to get a round table for their apartment. They live on the third floor so they want to make sure they can get it in the door of the apartment before they buy it. If the diameter of the table is 84 inches, will it fit through a rectangular door that measures 30 inches by 84 inches? Ken says it won't fit, but Melinda thinks it will. Who is correct, and why?
