Ahmad will walk around the outside of the pool to Hana’s starting point, and Hana will swim to Ahmad’s. If Ahmad walks 20 feet right and 14 feet up, how far does Hana swim? 2.Michelle is trying to nd a frame for a vinyl record (in the shape of a circle) she has decorated. The record has a radius of 5.5 inches. She has a square frame with a diagonal distance of 15 inches. Will the record t in Michelle’s frame?
3. Corie is painting her barn. She needs to be able to reach up to a height of 20 feet to paint the entire wall. Corie has a ladder that is 11 feet long. She places it 6 feet from the edge of the wall.
If Corie is 5.5 feet tall, will she be able to paint to the top of the wall using the ladder as it is placed? Justify your response.
