I have 24 pencils and 3 cups. The second cup holds one more pencil than the first. The third holds one more
than the second.

I know the answers are:
Cup 1: 7

Cup 2: 8

Cup 3; 9

But I don’t know how to get to them. This is due tonight please please help!!

To get credit I need to use a model, equation, or other representation then explain how the method I chose helped me find the solution.
