How to make it to the simply number?

24/48 ÷ 24 = 1/2

Example 2:

24/40 and 18/30

How to see if the last simply number is same?

24 can divide: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8

40 can divide: 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10

The same number that they can divide is 4 and 8

I choose 4, 24 ÷ 4 = 6, 40 ÷ 4 = 10

6/10

Can it be more simply?

Yes

6 and 10 still can divide 2

6 ÷ 2 = 3

10 ÷ 2 = 5
