Im making a chess board, but I screwed up the dimensions. I was wondering if someone could help with the math. The board I made had 2 inch squares, but all the pieces I designed are optimized for 2.25 inch squares. I also intend to put magnets in each piece, so the pieces cant change size. My question is: by what percentage do I need to increase the square size to make it so it changes from 2 inch squares to 2.25 inch squares?
