Albert Einstein took 8 coins out of his pocket which contained only nickels, dimes, and quarters, and bought a bag of chips from the vending machine for 95 cents. If the number of nickels he used is equal to the number of dimes, how many of each type of coin did he use? I know the answer is 3 nickels, 3 dimes and 2 quarters but besides using the process of elimination what is the work used to get those numbers? Thanks!
