Someone explain to me how to write an equation out in slope-intercept form in simple terms with examples I'm so confused

An equation in slope-intercept form looks like this: y = mx+b

In the equation, m is equal to the growth rate of the line on the graph and b represents the y-intercept (where the line meets with the y-axis).

For the line shown in the picture below, the equation is y = 1x + 2 (not exactly but based on estimates). Also, you can ignore the writing on the picture. (0-0')

y = 1x + 2

In this equation. 1 represents the growth rate and 2 represents the y-intercept.

So, when writing an equation, look for these two things:

y-intercept: where the line of a graph meets with the y-axis

growth rate: how much is the line increasing by on the y-axis for every unit on the x-axis?

Do you need with the x value for the minimum? its always between the two intercepts for a parabola

So don't take my word i'm not exactly a mathematical person but i would assume a. because while selling the soap every month you increase in sells so you would by 11 percent. the you would get the factor 0.89 which if i had to guess would be the monthly profit over 11 probably wrong tho
