4 1/6 + 2 3/4 too many answer not sure which is correct

4 1/6 turn it into an improper fraction so it will become 10/6
2 3/4 turn it into an improper fraction so it will become 10/4

4 1/6 = 10/6
2 3/4 = 10/4 now add them both up

10/6 +10/4 = 30/12 + 20/12
The answer will be 40/12 simplifying it to 3 and 1/3
