When you buy multiple stocks, you have to multiply your gains and losses by how many stocks you own. For example, if you own two stocks of Netflix, and the stock increases in value by $10, you have gained $20 (To calculate this you do $10 x 2). Suppose you own 5 stocks of Netflix. If the value of Netflix stock increases by $30 after you buy it... how much money have you made?
