So the points I got are,

5-(-4) is equal to 5+4 (2 minus signs are equal to 1 plus sign), which is 9.

(-3)-(-10) is equal to -3+10 (2 minus signs are equal to 1 plus sign), which is 7.

The two points are (-4,-10) and (5,-3)

Notice if we were to subtract 5 from -4, we would also have to subtract -3 from -10.

-4-5= -9 and -10- -3 = -10+3 = -7

-9/-7 is the same as 9/7.
