Suppose there are 40 homes in your housing community. You survey each one to help determine the feasibility of opening a daycare center in the neighborhood. Following are the results. Each number (separated by a comma) represents the number of children who live in one of the houses.

Use the survey results to answer the following questions: What is the average number of children per home in your community? What is the average number of children per home, in houses that have children? Which of these two averages do you think is a better statistic to use when deciding whether to open a daycare center? Why?
I'd appreciate any help I could get, I'm really stressing out about this.
