A) The foxes distance starts decreasing from 3 seconds to 6 seconds, since the line is coming down as time increases.
b) the fox is still from 2 seconds to 3 seconds, since the line is flat.
c) let’s look at the slope of the four intervals.

From 1 to 2, the distance increases to 4. The slope is 4/2 = 2.
From 2 to 3, the distance doesn’t change. The slope is 0.
From 3 to 5, the distance decreases to 3. The slope is -1/2.
From 5 to 6, the distance decreases to 0. The slope is -3, which is the greatest magnitude, therefore the fox is moving fastest.
