Anil, a student of class X goes to Ganga river with his father. When he sees a boat in the river, then he wants to sit in the boat. So his father Ramesh is ready to sit with him. In this order, Anil is sitting on a boat which goes upstream at a speed of 6km/h and returns downstream at a speed of 14km/h. When Anil is in the boat, some questions arise in the mind. Please answer the following questions. 1)Find the speed (in km/h)of the boat in still water:
2)Find the speed (in km/h)of stream.
3)Which mathematical concept is used in above problem?
4)Write the direction in which the speed is maximum.
5)Find the average speed of stream and boat in still water.
