Alice needs to rent a car while on vacation. The rental company charges $17.95, plus 18 cents for each mile driven. If Alice only has $40 to spend on the car rental, what is the maximum number of miles she can drive? im supposed to write an equation to represent the situation and show work in solving for X (maximun number of miles she can drive) if you can do this i'd appreciate and maybe then i could probably get the equation much better.
