The graph y=f(x) (where f(x) is a quadratic function) intersects the x-axis at A (-1,0) and B and has a maximum point at (0.5, 6). The equation f(x)= k has exactly one solution.

Would k just be 6, as this is the y value at the turning point of the graph?
