Coffee Table
One of the pieces of the required furniture in your room is a coffee table. Now let's have some fun figuring out how big it needs to be.
This will be a rectangular coffee table.
Here is the math part:
If the length of the coffee table is 8 more than twice the width and the total area is 960 square inches, find the length and width of the
rectangular coffee table. Hint: Draw a picture, label both sides, and write an equation to find the area (length width = area) Use the
information you just learned in the earlier steps of the project to solve this.
Your work is going to be scored, make sure it is neat!!! Take a picture of it when you are done and SAVE THE PAPER you wrote it on.
