Lin measured the diameter of a circle in two different directions. Measuring vertically, she got 3.5 cm, and measuring horizontally, she got 3.6 cm. Explain sone possible reasons why these measurements differ. A. These measurements could be rounded and so not exact.

B. The thickness of the circle could have affected the measurements.

C. Lin did not measure across the widest part when measuring vertically.

D. The shape is not quite a circle, because a perfect circle is very hard to draw.
