Consider again the situation from the bricklayers' deadline. This time, our task will be to make a table, graph, and rule to completely describe the relationship between the number of hours worked
that day and the total number of completed layers on the facade.
1)
Using the assumption that the layers are put up at a relatively constant rate, make a table
that shows the number of layers completed for at least 6 different points throughout the
workday. Use 8 a. m. as the beginning time (0 hours worked).
2)
Attach a piece of graph paper that you title to match this assignment. On it, make a graph of
the function from #1. Remember the graphing norms.
3)
Write a linear rule that takes any number of hours worked and computes the number of
layers completed. Explain where you got the numbers in your calculation.
