I am choosing to write about how women deserve equal pay and rights at the workplace. I have decided to write about this subject because of the large gender pay gap in our nation. The gender pay gap has a long -term effect and often impacts women throughout their entire life span. Even though many women have invested the same time and money into higher education as their male counterparts, they often do not earn the same salary. The current financial crisis makes it more important than ever to guarantee that women receive an equal wage for a day of work and can provide for their families. The type of research paper that I have decided to utilize to shed light on gender inequality and the economic discrepancies between males and females is an Argumentative (Persuasive) Research Paper. An Argumentative Research Paper will aid me in supporting my stance on gender inequality and demonstrate the negative effects gender inequality has on the entire population. As an African American female, the fact that gender inequality remains widespread even after the Women’s Suffrage and the Civil Rights Movement seems puzzling and interesting enough to research why and how gender inequality still exists. I plan to utilize scholarly journals, Google, articles directly expressing impactful information regarding the prevalent glass ceiling, and familial narratives. These resources will enable me to support my views with scientific data, graphs, and testimonials from individuals with first- hand experience with gender inequality.
Gender inequality exists in the workplace, educational facilities, and in healthcare the most, according to my research. Case studies, experiments, and questionnaires reported in scholarly journals, interviews from my family members, and my personal identifiers (female) are a few of the types of research methods used to support my argument. My argument to persuade and inform everyone that gender inequality must seize/stop.
Like gender inequality, late work, plagiarism, and falsifying data have profound negative consequences that may have long lasting effects on not just the individual but on the entire community, workplace, home, etc. Time management and setting clear times to delegate for assignments will help to avoid falling into the trap of rushing assignments and potentially turning in late assignments, plagiarizing another’s work, and/or falsifying data. Maintaining academic integrity is a must because it builds character and a moral compass that will assist us in life well after graduation.
