Given problem:

What is the value of x = ?

 Solution:

Angle on a straight line is 180°

Sum of angles in a triangle  = 180°

Now to solve the problem, we need to find the two internal angles first;

  For the first one;

      let us say it is y;

              163 + y  = 180

                        y  = 180 - 163 = 17°

    For the second, assume it is z;

            69 + z = 180

                    z = 180 -69  = 111°

The sum of the internal angles of the triangle;

    y + z + 2x   =  180

     17 + 111 + 2x  = 180

                    2x  = 180 - 128

                     2x  = 52

                       x =   = 26

The value of x is 26
