I am giving many points for this question
R=x^2/y
x=3.8x10^5
y=5.9x10^4
Work out the value of R
Give your answer in standard form to an appropriate degree of accuracy.
My efforts:
(3.8x10^5)^2/5.9x10^4=
144400000000/59000=
2447457.62712=
2.44745762712x10^6 but this is wrong.
What have I done wrong??
