I'm like you, in the same case. Actually I have done some things to be a brilliant student in my department and in my country in general. First thing you should search. search about ambiguous things inside the subject that you like and try to solve these mysterious things using your wet and through reading another tries of other people or scientests to solve these problems. Second you should help your colleaques in any question that may confuses them. Be a lovely person because when you explain the material to another one , your explain will stay in your mind for ever and never forget it in your exams. Ask your teacher interesting questions. Make him feel that you are not an ordinary student but an one who has a criative mind. Do not be satisfied about your study level. Even if you are working hard, tell yourselfe : I should do more.
