MODELING WITH MATHEMATICS The arch support of a bridge can be modeled by $y=-0.0012x^2$ , where $x$ and $y$ are measured in feet. Find the height and width of the arch.

The arch support of a bridge is parabolic in shape. The parabola is graphed on a coordinate plane. The x-axis is extended from negative 550 to 550, in increments of 50. The y-axis is extended from negative 400 to 75, in increments of 25. The parabola opens downward with the vertex lying at ordered pair 0 comma 0. It is drawn through the points at ordered pair negative 300 comma negative 100 and ordered pair 300 comma negative 100.

The arch is
feet high and
feet wide.
