Which expression is equivalent to the expression shown?

Mr. brettler is hanging up a 5-foot tall rectangular welcome sign in the gym. he has drawn a sketch on a coordinate grid. he has the lower vertices of the sign at (9, –3) and (–6, –3). where would the upper vertices be on the grid?

When solving this problem: 3025/5.5 = a/90.75 you get 49912.5 which would be the length of one of the sides of a square when the area is only 90.75 inches. is that answer correct, why, and how is it possible?
