Suppose that at reactor shutdown, the radiation levels due to N16in thereactor compartment are measured to be 40 roentgen/hr (r/hr). In order to perform a reactor compartment inspection, radiation levels must be negligible (<1 mr/hr). Note: 1000 mr=1 r.(a) Determinekand write the differential equation describing this process of radioactive decay.(b) Solve the differential equation to get a formula for the radiation level at any time.(c) How long must the technicians wait until they can enter the reactor compartment for the inspection?
