Arock is dropped off a 500-foot cliff. after 1 second the rock is traveling 32 feet per second then after 4 seconds the rock starts travelling 128 feet per second.
part a- assume the relationship between time, t, and speed, s, is linear and write an equation describing the relationship. use ordered pairs of the form (speed, time)
part b- use the equation to determine the speed of the rock 5 seconds after is dropped.
