When finding the sum of 512 and –614, josh used a left-to-right algorithm to compute the answer. he first added the hundred’s digits 500 + (–600) = –100 he then added the ten’s digits 10 + (–10) = 0 lastly, he added the one’s digits 2 + (–4) = –2 his result was –100 + 0 + (–2) = –102 is josh’s answer correct? how else could josh have computed the sum?
