Last year political party a received 50% of the votes and parties b and c received 25% each.

for the upcoming elections, the null hypothesis is that the proportion of people who will vote for party a will be the same as last year.

the alternative hypothesis is that proportion will change.

during the first hour for the upcoming elections 50 people voted for party a, 25 people voted for party b, 25 people voted for party c.

but after that, 50 people voted for party a and people did not vote for party b and c.
