Question: "erica bought 3 1/2 yards of fabric. if she uses 2/3 of the fabric to make a curtain, how much will she have left? "
> changed the numerators using the mixed number method
> made them have common denominators
> subtracted
> then divided to have gotten the answer but i got 2& 5/6. the right answer is 1& 1/6yrds. am i on the right track? any idea what i could've done different? !
