Now since there are two unlike terms, when it comes down to literally this, you have to divide each side by the number with the variable. So: 4.8y divided by 4.8...and 10.08 divided by 4.8.. now remember what I said..4.8y divided by 4.8 are alike so you have to cross it out. But you HAVE to divide 10.08 by 4.8.
