When i go to the gas station and pump
gas, i like to challenge myself to guess the
amount of gas i am going to pump into
my tank. i consider it a "win" for me if my
guess is within 0.2 gallons of the actual
amount that i pump. if i am 0.2 gallons
or more away from the actual amount
that i pump. i consider it a "loss" for me.
(my son tells me this makes me a real
nerd.) (as if he needed further proof)
question: which of the following inequalities
represents a win for me, if i am guessing that
i will pump 11.2 gallons?
